Emergency/Pandemic Rules
The Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to remind the Owners/Residents of the Pandemic Rules as it relates to COVID 19. We are all tired of dealing with this dreaded disease and are becoming somewhat complacent which causes us to let down our guard.
Although it is important for all Americans to receive the COVID Vaccine, CDC has determined that you can still be a carrier of the virus if you have had the vaccine. So, they are still strongly advising everyone to use a mask and social distance.
We want to remind all of you that the Rules we have in place for the Pandemic are still in place. If you plan to rent your condo, please provide the rules to your Renter.
If you tested positive for the virus, you must contact the Board in order for the Board to notify our community. We would greatly appreciate your approval to divulge your name and unit number to alert those you have come in contact with. However, we are not requiring you to divulge your name except to the Board Member you are notifying. We just want to monitor your progress.
As always, we are keeping updated on all information available and will make changes according to the latest releases from all the governing agencies.

COVID 19 RULES FOR REALTORS
According to many local realtors, the housing market has been on fire this year. The expectation for 2021 sales is for a 7% growth in sales, unfortunately, COVID 19 cases are expected to increase as well.
With that being said, the Board of Directors wants to take this opportunity to remind Owners/Residents that the June 17, 2020 COVID 19 Rules for Realtors are still in effect. Please be advised that “OPEN HOUSES” will not be permitted.
If any Owner plans to sell their unit, they must provide the Realtor a copy of the COVID 19 RULES for REALTORS at the time of listing.
The handout can be obtained by emailing a request to:board@myerleecircle.com if you do not have a copy. Please include your address and phone number.

MYERLEE CIRCLE 2021 DIRECTORY: The new Directory will be published on or about the third week in January. We are asking owners to let us know if there are any changes in their phone numbers, email address or alternate address. If you have any of those changes to report, please send them to Julia Tepper at ocmjulia@gmail.com, no later than January 15, 2021. –Thank you
MEMORIAL GARDEN: We are in the process of creating a Memorial Garden for our deceased owners at the corner of Myerlee Country Club Blvd and Dog Leg Way. We are seeking donations to help fund this beautiful project. All donations are tax deductible. We so appreciate the donations we have already received. Donations in any amount are greatly appreciated. Please make checks payable to Sandy Levinthal. Cash is most welcome, and we are happy to provide you with certification of your donation. Donations may be dropped off at the Myerlee Club House Office, attention Sandy Levinthal or dropped off at her home, 6941 Dog Leg Way. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

BOARD MEETING: The next Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 19, at the clubhouse at 1:30 pm. Owners are welcome.
WOMEN’S CLUB MEETING: The Women’s Club meets on the first Monday of the month. Meetings are held at the clubhouse at 10:30 am. Until further notice, due to the Covid19, refreshments will not be served. The next meeting will be on February 1st.
BOOK CLUB: The first Book Club meeting of the season will he held on Wednesday, January 13. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at the Myerlee Country Club. Starting this month, the new time is 12:00 noon, followed by a lunch of your choice. All are welcome.
This month we will be reading The Last Train To Paradise. A novel by Les Standiford. If you wish to obtain a copy of this book, or for any questions, please contact Eileen Lightell at 239-415-9318.

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES: Don’t forget these groups meeting every week at the Circle Clubhouse for fun activities:
The Myerlee Circle Art Group will continue to meet at the Clubhouse every Thursday at 1:00pm. If you wish to join us, please call Barbara at 239-437-8242 for more information.
Water Aerobics: Water Aerobics will meet on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:00 am, barring cold and or inclement weather. Group can only contain 6 (six) people at this time.
For any questions, please call Noreen Bailey at 612-247-5275.
Strength & Balance – Chair Yoga Class: Chair Yoga classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 am in the Myerlee Circle clubhouse. There is a maximum of ten participants. If interested please contact Jane Lowry at 504-669-6396.
Knitting and Crocheting Group: The “Knitting/Crocheting for Charity” group will be meeting on the 2nd & 4th Saturday of each month at 1:00 P.M., in the Myerlee Circle Clubhouse. All are welcome

Happy Hour: The Thursdays Happy Hour is to be held (for now) at the clubhouse’s Lanai from 4:30 to ? pm. Bring your own drink, and you may bring your own food, but no food to be shared.
Bocce Players: On Friday afternoons around 4:00, why not come out to the Bocce court for some fun and laughs. It is right behind the clubhouse. If you wish to use the court at any other time, you are welcome. The balls are inside the clubhouse kitchen door and the broom used to smooth the court is in the pool’s utility closet.
The shuffleboard courts are ready for your use. Pucks and sticks are in the clubhouse pantry!

We also have cornhole, game equipment is in the closet on the patio. Help yourself to using these also. You can set this up on the lawn to enjoy.
