SUPER BOWL LII: Join your friends and neighbors in watching Super Bowl LII at the Myerlee Circle Clubhouse on Sunday, February 4 at 6:00 pm.
New England Patriots vs Philadelphia Eagles
You may bring your favorite Super Bowl foods to share: appetizers, chili, chips and dip, casseroles, desserts, etc., and don’t forget your adult beverage J. Football squares are available. Hope to see you there.
WOMEN’S CLUB MEETING: Our next meeting is on February 5. Come and join us at 10:00 am for coffee. Meeting will start at 10:30 am. Please come and help us organize some of our Myerlee Circle activities. All are welcome.
THANK YOU!! Our thanks to all our volunteers (too many to mention here) that help made our Trash and Treasure sale a big success. Great Job!!
MEN’S PANCAKE BREAKFAST: The men will be holding their monthly pancake breakfast Saturday morning, February 10, from 8:30 to 9:30 am. Please join us for a delicious breakfast of pancakes, savory sausage, eggs, coffee and orange juice, and best of all great company.
BOOK CLUB: The Book Club will be meeting on Tuesday, February 13, at 10:30 am at the Myerlee Country Club. This month we are reading The Nightingale, by Kristin Hannah. If you are interested in joining us, please call Eileen Lightell at 239-415-9318 to obtain a copy of this book. For all of you that already have a copy, please bring it to the meeting. Our meetings are held at the Myerlee Country Club. Lunch follows. If you need further information or a ride, please contact Eileen.
MONTHLY DINNER: This month we are having a German Night. Join us at 5:00 pm on Saturday, February 17 for a traditional German meal of mouth-watering Rouladen, Rotkohl and Kartoffeln, this is rolled beef, red cabbage and potatoes. There will be other vegetables for those who prefer something other than red cabbage.
If you plan to attend, it is very important that you call Irene at 239-481-1422 no later than Thursday, February 15 by 6:00 pm to make your reservation and let her know how many will attend. We need to have an accurate count by Thursday in order to purchase and prepare meat.
The meal is at no cost to you but you may bring a side dish to share such as salad, veggies, potatoes or dessert. Bring your favorite beverage! Beer or a dry red wine go especially well with Rouladen, per our Host Sandy Stapela J

HOCKEY GAME: We are planning a trip to see the Florida Everblades Hockey team playing on February 28.

REMINDER: Please remember to break down the cardboard boxes and put them in the recycle bins and not in the dumpster. If the lids on the dumpster are not closed, the trash truck won’t dump it. Thank you.

IN MEMORIAM: Our friend and neighbor Mrs. Janet Dickens, longtime resident of the Circle and of late of Shell Point has passed away.
Also, Mrs. Dorothy Militelo, of Myerlee C C Blvd. Our most sincere sympathies, thoughts and prayers are with their families. May they rest in Peace.

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES: Don’t forget these groups meeting every week at the Circle Clubhouse for fun activities:
The Myerlee Circle Art Group meets at the Clubhouse every Thursday at 1:00pm. If you wish to join us, please call Barbara at 239-437-8242 for more information.
Water Aerobics: Classes are held on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 9:30 am weather permitting. Classes will be cancelled when the morning temperature is 65 degrees or less. Water Aerobics will also be cancelled on days of the Women’s Club meeting and Men’s Club Pancake Breakfast. Usually first Monday and second Saturday of the month.
T’ai Chi Chih Class: For those that are attending this class, remember that it is on Tuesdays at 10:00 am at the clubhouse. Classes will end on March 20.
Knitting and Crocheting Group: The “Knitting/Crocheting for Charity” group will be meeting on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, at The Myerlee Country Club at 2:00 pm. All are welcome.

Happy Hour meets every Thursday at 4:30 in the Clubhouse. Bring a snack of your choice along with your beverage and get in on the latest scoop.
Bocce Players: On Friday afternoons around 4:00, why not come out to the Bocce court for some fun and laughs. It is right behind the clubhouse. If you wish to use the court at any other time, you are welcome. The balls are inside the clubhouse kitchen door and the broom used to smooth the court is in the pool’s utility closet.
The shuffleboard courts are ready for your use. Pucks and sticks are in the clubhouse pantry!
We also have cornhole game equipment in the closet on the patio. Help yourself to using these also. You can set this up on the lawn to enjoy.
