HAPPY NEW YEAR!:  May the year ahead be one of happiness and good health to you and your loved ones.

NOTE TO OWNERS: If you have received a notice from FPL Energy Services that indicates that the “Water Line Responsibility” status is not covered, please ignore this notice.  The Myerlee Circle Condo Association is responsible for the water lines leading to your condo, up to but not including the shut off valve.  If you have signed up for this coverage, call 1-844-848-0465 and cancel the coverage.  It will save you $3.99 per month plus tax.

New lawn Service: We have a new lawn service that will be starting after the first of the year. Angel Vargas Lawn Service. They will be trimming the shrubs at the same time that they mow the lawn. Please Make sure that all holiday lights are removed from the shrubs. Thank you.

The Board

TRASH AND TREASURE:  The Trash and Treasure Sale date is Saturday, January 20. We are going to start moving the donations from the Maintenance building to the club house on Monday the 15th, at 9:00 am. If you have last minute small items to donate, you may bring those to the clubhouse. No clothing please.

We can use any help that you may be able to provide for setting up and pricing. For any questions, please call Pearl Prevoir at 774-994-1752, or Liz McGuire at 239-481-1327.

A Bake Sale will also take place at Trash and Treasure. Volunteer bakers are needed. Please call Sandy Levinthal at

T’AI CHI CHIH CLASS:  New Free Class Begins at the Clubhouse January 23.

T’ai Chi Chih is a gentle and non-strenuous moving meditation that yields benefits such as improved balance and muscle tone, lowered blood pressure,  renewed energy, increased overall sense of joy, and more. Sign up to find out what benefits you  experience!
Certified T’ai Chi Chih instructor, and Myerlee Circle resident, Bev Chandley will be teaching a series of  9 one hour

T’ai Chi Chih classes each Tuesday at 10 am Beginning Jan. 23 and ending March 20. Registration is limited so if you are interested call Bev Chandley at 239-910-3790 soon to reserve a spot or to ask questions. This can’t work as a “drop in” class because new movements are introduced and reviewed for each class. No special clothing is required, except socks or very flat shoes-no flip flops or running shoes please.

WOMEN’S CLUB MEETING:  Due to the holidays, the  January meeting will be on Monday the 8 th. All are welcome. Come and join us at 10:00 am for coffee. Meeting will start at 10:30 am. Please come and help us organize some of our Myerlee Circle activities. We are planning to remove and pack for storage the clubhouse’s holiday decorations. Volunteers are needed. Any help will be appreciated. Please contact Pearl Prevoir at 774-994-1752 if you are available.

BOOK CLUB: The Book Club will be meeting on Tuesday, January 9, at 10:30 am. The meeting will be held at the Myerlee Country Club. Lunch will follow.  If you need further information or a ride, please call Eileen Lightell at 239-415-9318

MEN’S PANCAKE BREAKFAST: The men will be holding their monthly pancake breakfast Saturday morning, January 13, from 8:30 to 9:30 am. Please join us for a delicious breakfast of pancakes, savory sausage, eggs, coffee and orange juice, and best of all great company.

PIZZA DINNER: Our next pizza dinner will be on Thursday, January 25, at 5:00 pm. There is no charge for the pizza. It is the Myerlee Circle Women’s Club treat J. You may bring a salad or dessert. And don’t forget your “adult beverage”. We will also be having a 50/50 drawing. Don’t forget your $$ J. Please call Irene Lychodij at 239-481-1422, no later than January 23, to make your reservation and let her know how many are attending. A head count is a must for this time so that we know how many pizzas to order. So please, do call Irene. Our thanks. See you there.

ARMAND’S CIRCLE TRIP: A trip to St. Armand’s Circle is being planned for January 27. There will be an Art Festival, shopping.

Myerlee Circle Resident Outing to St. Armand’s Circle

Sign up today! It will be a day for Art Lovers and Shoppers alike! Depending on numbers we will either rent a van or car pool. If you are a willing driver and able to handle driving 95 miles each way please advise the event coordinator.

Lunch will be at Cha Cha Coconuts at 11:45.

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES:  Don’t forget these groups meeting every week at the Circle Clubhouse for fun activities:

The Myerlee Circle Art Group meets at the Clubhouse every Thursday at 1:00pm. If you wish to join us, please call Barbara at 239-437-8242 for more information.

Water Aerobics: January Water Aerobics schedule: Jan 2; 12; 19, and 26. Mark your calendars.

We will continue to start water aerobics at 9:30 am each month. Classes will be cancelled when the morning temperature is 65 degrees or less. Water Aerobics will also be cancelled on days of the Women’s Club meeting and Men’s Club Pancake Breakfast. Usually first Monday and first Saturday of the month.

Knitting and Crocheting Group: The “Knitting/Crocheting for Charity” group will  be meeting on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, at The Myerlee Country Club at 2:00 pm.  All are welcome.

Happy Hour meets every Thursday at 4:30 in the Clubhouse. Bring a snack of your choice along with your beverage and get in on the latest scoop.

Bocce Players: On Friday afternoons around 4:00, why not come out to the Bocce court for some fun and  laughs. It is right behind the clubhouse. If you wish to use the court at any other time, you are welcome. The balls are inside the clubhouse kitchen door and the broom used to smooth the court is in the pool’s utility closet.

The shuffleboard courts are ready for your use. Pucks and sticks are in the clubhouse pantry!

We also have cornhole game equipment in the closet on the patio. Help yourself to using these also. You can set this up on the lawn to enjoy.
