CONTRACTORS AND UNIT REPAIRS BY CONTRACTORS

Please remember that there are some simple rules that must be followed when hiring Contractors.

  1. Contractors must be insured for liability, workers compensation and licensed for Lee County.
  2. Contractors are not allowed to park on our lawns as it will cause damage to our irrigation system. They must carry all equipment and supplies on/off the property. Owners must inform maintenance staff when contractors are hired for remodeling or repairs.
  3. Contractors and/or owners cannot use the community dumpster for construction materials. If the contractor or owner fills the dumpster with construction debris, there will be an extra charge billed to the owner. Our dumpster is only for regular weekly garbage.
  4. Unit owner or representative must be present during repairs or remodeling.
  5. Owners, at no additional cost, can place brown goods (furniture, such as couch, table, chair and/or mattress) or white goods (appliances, such as washer, dryer, stove) at the dumpster site for pick up.

Please be sure to tell our maintenance staff of intent before placing articles at site. Maintenance will call for a special pick up.

Feel free to contact a Board member with any questions that you may have on these rules.

REMINDER: Please do not contact maintenance staff for repair/service by phone, unless it is an emergency. A Repair Request must be filled out and brought to the office. Repair Request forms are located outside the office door in the clubhouse.  Thank you.

WATCH OUT FOR SCAMS (Phone or email)

There have been reports of an email from Bank of America, informing that there is abnormal activity on your online account, and are requesting your personal information. This is fraud, a scam. Do not answer to this. If this is your bank, call them to verify.

From Medicare. Calls in reference to your new Medicare card. Scam artists may try to get personal information (like your current Medicare number) by contacting you about your new card. If you  receive a call or an email about this, do not respond and call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227) to report.

DIRECTORY: We are in the process of updating our directory. If you have any address (local or alternate), phone number or email changes, please send an email with the new information to Julia Tepper, at ocmjulia@gmail.com or you may call her at 239-841-0237.  We would like to  have this information no later than October 10.  Thank you
