Meeting called to order @ 4:00 pm by President Morris.
Joyce states the reason for this meeting was to educate Board members
on “What is happening”.
Joyce distributed a copy of a letter she has written to owners regarding our
current financial status. Letter will be emailed to all owners within 24 hours.
She reviewed what paperwork is requested by SBA as part of the loan
process and stated she had concerns regarding : loan vs no loan to pay for
the communities needed repairs and replacements. Further discussion will
take place after receipt of the insurance claim information and SBA loan
terms.
It is important to realize insurance companies must replace/repair covered
items to pre-Hurricane standards. If
necessary, the association will hire a private adjuster for claim assistance.
Joyce distributed a List of Estimates of repair of damages caused by
Hurricane IAN and identified what estimates are still needed. The
expectation for total repairs is somewhere around $500,000.

Two(2) owners who had the original lanais, experienced damage from
Hurricane IAN, to their lanai ceilings and other parts of the lanai. The
association is responsible for payment for these repairs.
Lisa Kaiser made a motion to move ahead with Galliano Pro Services to
take down and repair lanai ceilings of 1362 and 1367 Bunker Way, for a
total of $3,400, motion seconded, no discussion took place, all in favor, so
motion carried.
Short discussion on driveway repairs took place and will be further
discussed in the 1/24/23 Board Meeting.
Motion made to adjourn the meeting, seconded with no discussion, motion
passed.
