FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS: The 2016 Annual Meeting has been changed from March 7, 2016 to March 14, 2016.
FOR ALL OUR RESIDENT OWNERS: Any owner wishing to make changes to the exterior of their unit, such as windows, doors, or lanai, must submit a request in writing to the Board of Directors. It will be reviewed at the next Board Meeting. Remember that the grounds are “common elements” and changes are restricted, that includes fences.

IN MEMORIAM: Our most sincere sympathies goes to Link Freese for the loss of his dear father Walter Freese. Walter was a World War II Veteran and a long time resident of the Myerlee Circle. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Freese family.

WOMEN’S GROUP MEETING: The Myerlee Circle Women’s group will be holding their monthly meeting on Monday, February 1st. All are welcome. Come and join us at 10:00 am for coffee. Meeting starts at 10:30. Please come and help us organize some of our Myerlee Circle activities
MEN’S BREAKFAST: The men will be holding their monthly breakfast Saturday morning, February 6, from 8:30-9:30. They will also be serving egg dishes. Please join us for a delicious breakfast, and best of all, great company.

Join us for good food and friends to watch the game. There will be appetizers, chili, and corn bread. Bring something to share. Rick and MJ Peters will be selling “squares” for a pool for $1.00 each at Happy Hours or you can catch them at home or at the Pancake Breakfast on Feb. 6. We had a great time last year!

BOOK CLUB: The Book Club meetings are now held at the Myerlee Country Club. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, February 16, at 10:30 am. This month we are reading The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid, by Bill Bryson. If you would like to join us, please contact Marietta Colitre at 310-422-7436 to obtain a copy of this book. We hope to see you all there and will welcome any new members. If you have any questions or need a ride, call Eileen at 239-415- 9318.
POT LUCK DINNER: The next Pot Luck Dinner will be on February 18, at 5:00 pm. For all our new Myerlee Circle residents, Pot Luck dinners are held at the Club House. Bring your favorite entrée, salad or dessert to share. And don’t forget your favorite adult beverage J. Please call Irene Lychodij at 239-481-1422, no later than February 17, to make your reservation and let her know how many will attend.
REMINDER: The Myerlee Women’s Club is still planning a Casino trip. Cost for the trip is $25.00. If you are interested please call Barbara Grattenthaler at 239-437-8242.
NOTICE: Joni Johnson would like to start a knitting/crocheting group. Meetings will be at the clubhouse. Date and time TBD. If you are interested, please call Joni at 239-765-9214.
TRASH AND TREASURES: Our thanks to all of you that helped us in making our Trash and Treasure sale a complete success. Your support is greatly appreciated.

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES: Don’t forget these groups meeting every week at the Circle Clubhouse for fun activities:
Hand and Foot Canasta Card Club meets every Monday at 1:00pm. Contact Henrietta at 239-481-2116
The Myerlee Circle Art Group meets at the Clubhouse every Thursday at 1:00pm. If you wish to join us, please call Barbara at 239-437-8242 for more information.
Happy Hour meets every Thursday at 4:30 in the Clubhouse. Bring a snack of your choice along with your beverage and get in on the latest scoop.
The Men’s Poker Group meets on Tuesday evenings from 7-10pm and on Friday afternoons from 1-4pm.
BOCCE PLAYERS: On Friday afternoons around 4:00, why not come out to the court for some fun and laughs. It is right behind the clubhouse and pool. If you find that the day and time are not convenient and you wish to use the court, the balls are inside the clubhouse kitchen door and the broom used to smooth the court is in the pool’s utility closet.
