YEARLY DIRECTORY: In order to continue to provide privacy for owners, the Board of Directors has determined that only owners will receive one hard copy of the directory each year. No directory will be emailed or faxed to any owner or owner’s relative.

REMINDER:  The Myerlee Circle Condo Association annual meeting will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 6:30 pm, at the Circle’s Clubhouse. Sign in is at 6:00 pm. Distribution of Directory and new Emergency Form will take place immediately after sign in. Meeting will start at 6:30 pm. Please remember to bring your ballot or send your proxy ballot in. Attendance is important to form a quorum.

WOMEN’S CLUB MEETING:  The Women’s Club meeting will be on Monday, March 4. All are welcome. Come and join us at 10:00 am for coffee. Meeting starts at 10:30. Please come and help us organize some of our Myerlee Circle activities.

 

MEN’S PANCAKE BREAKFAST: The men will be holding their monthly pancake breakfast Saturday morning, March  9, from 8:30 to 9:30 am.  Please join us for a delicious breakfast of pancakes, eggs, savory sausage, sweet rolls, coffee and orange juice, and best of all great company

 

BOOK CLUB: Our Book Club will be meeting on Tuesday, March 12 at the Myerlee Country Club at 10:30 am., followed by a lunch of your choice.  All are welcome.

This month we will be reading a biography, autobiography or a memoir of one of our favorite authors. It should be a fun meeting, don’t miss it. Any questions, please contact Eileen Lightell at 239-415-9318.

 

POT LUCK DINNER: Our next Pot Luck dinner will be on Thursday, March 21 at 5:00 pm. Dinners are held at the clubhouse. If you are planning to attend, please call our office number 239-481-8387 and leave a message to place your reservation and let us know how many will attend. We would like to receive your request no later than March 20. Bring your favorite dish to share, and…..don’t forget your “adult beverage” J –See you there.

HAND AND FOOT CANASTA:  Sandy Stapela would like to start a Hand and Foot Canasta group. If  interested, or for more information, please call Sandy at 239-222-2634.

IN MEMORIAM:  Mrs. Betty DeDoes has passed away. Mrs. DeDoes was a long time resident of the Circle. Our thoughts and prayers are with her daughters Pat and Nancy, sons Michael and Harold and their families.

 

 

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES:  Don’t forget these groups meetings every week at The Circle clubhouse for fun activities:

 

—  Strength & Balance – Chair Yoga: This class meets at the clubhouse on Thursday’s at 10:00 am, throw the end of April.

—  Water Aerobics: Water Aerobics will meet every Tuesday and Friday at 10:00 am barring cold and  or inclement weather.

 

—  Happy Hour: Meets every Thursday at the Clubhouse at 4:30 pm. Bring a snack of your choice along with your beverage and get in on the latest scoop.

 

—  The Myerlee Circle Art Group:  Meets at the Clubhouse every Thursday at 1:00 pm. If you wish to join us, please call Barbara at 239-437-8242 for more information.

 

—  Knitting/Crocheting Group: The “Knitting/Crocheting for Charity” group will  be meeting on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, at The Myerlee Country Club at 2:00 pm.  All are welcome.

— Bocce Players and Watchers:  On Friday afternoons around 4:00, why not come out to the Bocce court for some fun and  laughs. It is right behind the clubhouse and pool. If you wish to use the court at any other time, the bocce balls and broom to smooth the court are inside the pool’s utility closet on the pool lanai.

 

— Shuffleboard: The shuffleboard courts have been  repaired and repainted and are ready for your use.  Pucks and sticks are in the clubhouse pantry!

We also have cornhole game equipment in the closet on the patio. Help yourself to using these. You can set this up on the lawn to enjoy.
