MYERLEE CIRCLE NEWSLETTER

DECEMBER 2018

FROM THE BOARD:

How to communicate with your HOA Board of Directors

In recognizing the importance of good owner and HOA Board members communication, each board member is assigned weekly coverage for office phones, mail and email Monday thru Friday. We offer multiple options for communications, such as:

  1.  Board office email:  board@myerleecircle.com

  2.  Myerlee Circle office phone:  239-481-8387

  3.  Myerlee Circle Condominium Website – Open website, select Contact Us, write message and hit send.

When using any of these options, we ask that you give your name, phone number, date and a clear and concise message. Every effort will be made to contact you in a timely manner.

The above noted options are the best way to contact a board member. We ask that owners do not call on a Board member at their home or call on their personal phone.

If you have any type of emergency, please call the appropriate agency or identified individual  – Thank you

HOME OWNERS ASSOCIATION FEES TO INCREASE FOR 2019

Besides a new year, January 2019 will bring a 5% increase in the association condo fee from $400.00 to $420.00.

On November 15, 2018 an owners meeting was held to present the proposed budget. The 2019 Budget includes a 4% increase in Operating cost and a 21% higher contribution for Reserves. The Operating accounts presented in this budget are suggested or required by The Florida Statutes and Administrative Code.

The total 2019 Budget is about $31,790.00 higher than in 2018. This is a 7% increase. The Board made every attempt to modify, change and, or decrease any and all identified waste from 2019 budget score presenting it for review.

In order to balance the budget it is necessary to increase the monthly fee by $20.00.

If you have questions concerning payment changes, please contact our treasurer, Linda Fentner at 239-400-1093 or email her at lmfentner@msn.com .

HOLIDAY DECORATIONS: Holiday time is quickly coming up and people are starting to decorate inside and outside their units.

The Board would like to caution owners, who have not yet had their units power washed and painted, against putting up outdoor lights and decorations. The painting contractor cannot be responsible for removing any decorations from bushes, doors and or outdoor unit walks.

The painters are diligently working to finish all units before the Christmas Holiday. We appreciate your cooperation.

–Thank you

T’AI CHI CHIH CLASS:   Free mini course in T’ai Chi Chih. This course is offered by accredited T’ai Chi Chah instructor and Myerlee Circle resident Beverly Chandley. The class is free of charge.

Last year we had the full nine week class, but it was tough for folks to make so many classes. Beverly is shortening it to an introductory course of four classes of 1-1.5 hours in length. The course will still be cumulative, so plan to attend all four sessions, especially the first one. Call Beverly at 239-910-3790 if you have any questions.

Classes are on Fridays at 9:00 at the Myerlee clubhouse, beginning on January11.

No early sign up is required.
