QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

DUCKS ARE BACK:

QUESTION:

Does the pool cover prevent ducks from landing in the pool?

ANSWER:

The Pool Director indicates that the POOL COVER DOES deter the ducks from landing in the pool. Volunteers are needed, nightly, to assist putting on the pool cover, especially while the ducks are “in town”.

We thank the owners who have been helping to put on the pool cover but, we are still in need of more volunteers! Please, contact Cynthia McComb @(260)402-7244.

Many thanks to the owners who helped to clean up the duck poop @ the pool.

MARCH TIDBITS

WHY DO WE WEAR GREEN ON ST. PATRICK’S DAY ☘️ ☘️  ☘️

It’s only since the Irish Rebellion of 1798 that the shade has become associated with the Holiday. Blue, which adorned the ancient Irish Flag was first identified with St. Patrick’s Day. But the rebels wore green to differentiate themselves from the British, who clothed themselves in green and the color has since come to denote Ireland and the Irish to all the world. Shamrocks, the National plant of Ireland (which legend says St. Patrick used to explain the Holy Trinity), also became a global significance of the European Island.
